I ship my own apps end to end: on-device inference and LLM-backed features where they help, localization in 16+ languages, credit-based and subscription monetization, and steady ASO. The same engineering rigor I use in production ML and trading systems, applied to consumer software.

ToughWing is built by Mervan Kanat - a software engineer based in Istanbul with 5+ years in production ML and algorithmic trading infrastructure.

By day: AI-powered trading platforms for institutional fintech clients, working across signal generation, execution, and ML pipelines.

By night and weekends: ToughWing. Indie iOS apps that bring the same engineering discipline from production fintech to consumer software.

Focus areas: on-device AI inference, LLM-powered product features, credit-based monetization, App Store optimization, and shipping in 16+ languages with a one-person team.

Currently exploring agentic AI patterns and how multi-agent systems can power the next generation of consumer apps.
